Useful reports identify the calculator, the exact inputs, the result produced, and what you expected instead.
Calculator corrections
Before reporting a discrepancy, check the public validation cases, methodology and source registry. If a formula is materially corrected, the change should appear in the release history.
What to include in a correction report
- The calculator name or page address.
- The values and units you entered.
- The result shown and the result you expected.
- A worked example or source that explains the difference.
