Free calculators by Tanner Dery.
I’m Tanner Dery, a professional driver and web developer. I build tannerd.net to make everyday calculations easier to check: fuel and driving costs, work hours, resale profit and project quantities. Selected calculators also have a public API.
What tannerd.net is
It is an independent software publishing project centered on deterministic calculators: seller and ecommerce economics, work/pay arithmetic, driving and energy cost, business metrics, material takeoffs and other narrow utilities.
What tannerd.net is not
tannerd.net does not claim to be a government agency, payroll provider, marketplace, shipping carrier, utility company, engineering firm, accounting firm or other institution whose rules may appear as inputs to a calculator. References to outside organizations are for sourcing or user-supplied assumptions, not affiliation.
How to verify it
You do not have to rely on an “About” claim. Review the methodology, calculator standards, public regression cases, source registry, release history, and build provenance. The public API also returns formula and provenance metadata with results.
Human and machine access
Humans can use the calculators without an account. Developers and compatible AI agents can use the public REST API, MCP, A2A and WebMCP interfaces. The service is intentionally read-only: it calculates; it does not place orders, move money, change payroll, or modify third-party accounts. The separate Search Radar application has a public identity page describing its private search-intelligence role and Google data practices.
Corrections and disclosure
The contact page describes what information is useful when reporting a formula issue. A public email address has not been fabricated simply to make the site appear more established. Once a dedicated public contact channel is configured, it can also be published through a standards-compliant security.txt file.
